Fab Frocks Friday {#12}

Hello lovelies …

I had another post lined up for today, but when I saw this on One Fab Day I just couln’t resist. Those who read my blog regularly know that I have a soft spot (well, that’s an understatement!!) for Elie Saab.

He has just launched his 2013 couture collection (which is different from the one he designs for Pronovias). As usual I couldn’t decide which one is my favourite … one thing’s for certain, I would kill to have one of these gowns!

I’m loving the palette of easter egg colours …

… and some delightful short dresses!

And last but not least, this showstopper of a wedding dress. To be perfectly honest, it is the only gown from this collection that I wouldn’t wear, as it’s too girly for my tastes. But for those who love the princess/Barbie look, can it get more beautiful than this?

Hello lovelies …

I’ve been following NYC Bridal Market closely (virtually, unfortunately), and so for today’s Fab Frock, I had to post my favourite so far.

Douglas Hannant gown blue and white

I guess you’ll either love or hate this gown by Douglas Hannant (spotted on Project Wedding). I just love it … everything about it just leaves me breathless.

Tell me, do you love it or hate it? And oh, for more pretties from this year’s bridal market, be sure to join me on Pinterest, where I’m pinning all the pretty gowns!

Hello lovelies …

The sun is shining again today … Am so happy! Winter is not my favorite season, have to be honest. And here’s something else to brighten up your day.

I first spotted Rosalynn Win’s creations on Polka Dot Bride, and the gown that had me drooling was this gorgeous gown below … I know, I have a thing with the back of wedding gowns!

The designer says that “This collection is inspired by passionate craftsmanship of the bygone mystical eras and true love for couture.” And it sure is evident in all her gowns.

So tell me, do you have a favorite?

Hello lovelies …

I’ve been in love with Ivy and Aster ever since they launched, and I couldn’t have been more in love with their new Spring collection. Their dresses are so fun, feminine and flirtatious! The Duchess gown is one of my favourites …

And what about the back of this gown?!

Head on over to their site for more eye candy, but I’m warning you … you won’t notice the time passing by.

Hello lovelies …

Romona Keveza Fall 2012 Wedding Collection short wedding dress with pockets

I know … another dress with pockets. But oh my … isn’t this gown to die for? Actually the entire Romona Keveza’s Fall 2012 collection (discovered via OMG I’m Getting Married) is to die for. Romona Keveza herself says that her gowns are more about “whispering elegance rather than shouting opulence” and I couldn’t agree more. I think this gown is perfect for those destination brides planning a wedding here in Malta.

Would love to hear which gown is your favourite.
