Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend of planning and relaxing. Today I’m back with another free printable, this time from one of my favourite daily reads – Wedding Chicks. Antlers have been huge in the wedding industry (more of that to come tomorrow 😉 ), so The Wedding Chicks have created a free antler wedding invitation, which you can just print yourself!
It is available in purple and in peach, and the text is wholly customisable. And while you’re at it, you can even pick up matching totes from their shop.

I’m so sorry that I didn’t even manage to post a single post last week … It was a very crazy week in a good kind of way. On Monday we had the cover photoshoot for the next feature of Wedding DAY … Can’t wait to have the next issue in my hands!
As usual, I scoured the internet for a nice DIY project. I always encourage my couples to inject their personalities in their wedding, and one way of doing so is by doing something yourself.
I love anything with burlap, and these favor bags look so rustic and chic. Intimate Weddings have divided the tutorial in two: how to make the burlap bags, and how to make the felt flower. You can then fill the bag with whatever you want. You can also use the flower for so many other things … wouldn’t it look fabulous as a napkin ring, for example?

Easter is upon us, and Spring is definitely in the air. When I saw this Chalkboard Herb Pot Tutorial on Ellinée’s blog, I couldn’t help not posting it, even though I posted a printable from their blog not so long ago.
Nothing screams spring more than fresh herbs in my opinion, and I love the touch of chalkboard. These beauties would do double duty as escort cards and favors at a wedding, don’t you think?

How was your weekend? Hopefully it was better than mine … We spent the whole weekend inside nursing colds! Today’s project was inspired by the ribbons roundup I had done some time ago. As a wedding stylist, I’m always looking for creative ways for the couple sendoff, and what better way to do it than ribbon wands?
Three reasons why I love this project:
– it’s pretty straightforward to make
– it won’t break the bank
– it can be customised in your wedding colours
There are tons of tutorials for ribbon wands, but I love this tutorial via Ruffled. Click on the link for the full tutorial.
Today’s DIY post is as cute as can be. I think it is every little girl’s dream to be a flower girl in a wedding (It sure was mine!). I still remember when I asked my cousin to be a flower girl how her whole face lit up … she was overjoyed. And I wish I could have dreamt up of this DIY … it’s something that they will surely treasure forever (apart from the memories of course :))

Let me know if you’ve asked your flowergirls in a special way 🙂
Even though it’s still quite hot here in Malta, today’s breeze is making me think of Autumn. And today’s DIY find (spotted here) is surely to please those brides planning an autumn wedding … even though I think it goes well with any rustic wedding or location.
It is unbelievably simple … what you basically need is an old coffee can and twigs collected during a countryside walk. Head on over to Martha Stewart for the full tutorial.
This project surely appeals to the bookworm in me (even though I haven’t had time to read a book in ages … too much work … not that I’m complaining :)) So enough of me, and back to the project.
This makerie involves two loves of mine – vintage books and succulents. Besides being fairly inexpensive to make, it also looks super easy … bonus points! Head on over to Green Wedding Shoes (which also happens to be one of my daily favourite reads) for the whole tutorial.
