Hello lovelies …
So, what have you planned for this weekend? I’m going to start cracking at some DIY projects I have lined up for the next Wedding Day shoot … the second issue is not even out yet , and we’re already geared up for the summer issue … It’s really great working with such an energetic and creative team! That’s enough about me … here are some pretties I found while blog surfing this week 🙂
An Irish wedding with the bride wearing the most magnificent Ian Stuart dress
A wedding in Portugal that is beyond chic
A super bright colourful kite-themed engagement
But most of all, you have to watch this! A proposal with lots of balloons
Hello lovelies …
It’s the weekend already. Do you have anything special planned? If not, curl up on the sofa and go through all the lovely things I’ve found on the web this week …
An engagement session with a canoe and breathtaking scenery on Green Wedding Shoes
A DIY wedding with a very impressive dessert table on Rock My Wedding
A South African farm wedding with a short dress and red shoes on b.loved
A geeky chic wedding on Aisle Candy
Yesterday I opened my letter box to find a greeting card from my best friend (we’ve known each other since I was 16 … that’s almost 12 years!!) I don’t have my birthday coming up and Christmas still has a bit to come. He bought the card just because it reminded him of me and wanted to say thank you for still being there, even though we now live in two different countries. It had me laughing and crying at the same time (in the middle of the road, may I add).
A bit later, I find an email in my inbox from Tiffany of The Curiosity Project … it was the address of my secret recipient! (For those of you who haven’t heard about it, this project is “a mass exchange of personally chosen gifts between anonymous participants”). This had me thinking … Isn’t it nice to give something to somebody just because? And not think about receiving anything in return?
