Hello lovelies!

Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend of planning and relaxing. Today I’m back with another free printable, this time from one of my favourite daily reads – Wedding Chicks. Antlers have been huge in the wedding industry (more of that to come tomorrow ūüėČ ), so The Wedding Chicks have created a free antler wedding invitation, which you can just print yourself!

It is available in purple and in peach, and the text is wholly customisable. And while you’re at it, you can even pick up matching totes from their shop.

Hello lovelies!

I’m so sorry that I didn’t even manage to post a single post last week … It was a very crazy week in a good kind of way. On Monday we had the cover photoshoot for the next feature of Wedding DAY¬†… Can’t wait to have the next issue in my hands!

As usual, I scoured the internet for a nice DIY project. I always encourage my couples to inject their personalities in their wedding, and one way of doing so is by doing something yourself.

DIY tutorial Burlap Favor Bags Peony Pockets

I love anything with burlap, and these favor bags look so rustic and chic. Intimate Weddings have divided the tutorial in two: how to make the burlap bags, and how to make ¬†the felt flower. You can then fill the bag with whatever you want. You can also use the flower for so many other things … wouldn’t it look fabulous as a napkin ring, for example?

Hop on over to Intimate Weddings for the full tutorial.

Hello lovelies!

Easter is upon us, and Spring is definitely in the air. When I saw this Chalkboard Herb Pot Tutorial on¬†Ellin√©e’s blog, I couldn’t help not posting it, even though I posted a printable from their blog not so long ago.

Nothing screams spring more than fresh herbs in my opinion, and I love the touch of chalkboard. These beauties would do double duty as escort cards and favors at a wedding, don’t you think?

Hello lovelies!

How was your weekend? Hopefully it was better than mine … We spent the whole weekend inside nursing colds! Today’s project was inspired by the ribbons roundup I had done some time ago. As a wedding stylist, I’m always looking for creative ways for the couple sendoff, and what better way to do it than ribbon wands?

Three reasons why I love this project:

– it’s pretty straightforward to make
– it won’t break the bank
– it can be customised in your wedding colours

Hello lovelies!

Hello lovelies!

Hope you’re refreshed after a nice weekend. I’m starting the week with an easy DIY that can be used in so many places in a wedding. I love monograms … I think they add a nice touch of personalisation.

I love the use of burlap as a backdrop for the monogram, but you can choose a backdrop that matches with your wedding theme. Head here for the full tutorial.

I just stumbled on this lovely blog and I knew I had to feature one of their tutorials or printables for this week’s makerie.¬†Ellin√©e is¬†a design studio in Portland, Oregon and their blog is filled to the brim with inspiration.

Hello lovelies!

This was a post on A¬†Subtle Revelry (one of my favourite daily reads) intended for Valentine’s, but I think it would be such a good substitute for placecards if you have a small guest list. All you need are cornstarch and some sugar crystals!
